Key LockTimber provides superior thermal insulation (wood is a natural insulator), longer lifespan (60 years vs 25-30 for uPVC), and a solid, substantial feel that composite doors cannot replicate. Timber entrance doors can also be repaired and refinished, unlike composite or uPVC which must be replaced when damaged.
Very secure. Our doors feature GU (Germany) multi-point locking with engagement points along the full height. PAS 24:2016 certified (UK Police Preferred Specification). Optional 3-point lock systems and smart digital locks add further security layers.
Both profile systems are available for timber entrance doors. ECO 92 (92 mm) is recommended for main entrance doors - its deeper profile provides superior thermal performance, security, and structural rigidity required for exterior entry doors exposed to weather. Yes. Glazed panels are available in double, triple, or quadruple glazing configurations. Glass options include Low-E, fire-resistant, laminated safety, solar control, and sound insulation glass. The glass area and position are fully customisable.
Any RAL or NCS colour. Interior and exterior can be finished differently. Options include clear lacquer (natural window profiles, wood grain visible), tinted lacquer, or full-colour paint. Optional aluminium cladding on the exterior is also available in any RAL colour.
